Chelsea-Penampilan apik awal musim, ternyata tidak merambah sampai ke paruh musim. Penampilan Kurang memuaskan di liga Champions akhirnya merambah ke liga Inggris. Pekan ini, mereka kembali ditahan oleh Fulham dalam derby London.

Nasib mereka hampir sama dengan nasib Arsenal musim lalu yang sempat apik di awal musim tapi menurun drastis di paruh musim bak motor kehabisan bensin. sama juga dengan nasib Chelsea musim ini.

Entah apa yang menyebabkan penampilan mereka menurun. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Karena penampilan kurang memuaskan di beberapa pertandingan terakhir, ada kabar kalau Big Phil akan segera didepak dari Stamford Bridge. Nama Roberto Mancini disebut-sebut akan menggantikan jabatan Big Phil.

Kemungkinan mereka juara memang cukup besar, tapi mereka harus meladeni persaingan dari Liverpool dan Manchester United. Jika tidak ingin didepak dari kursi kepelatihannya, sepertinyaBig Phil harus berjuang ekstra keras untuk menyiapkan taktik jitu untuk menang. Dia harus bisa membuat Chelsea menjadi juara bila dia tidak ingin bernasib sama dengan Jose Mourinho.
